Privacy Policy

Photo Location Finder is built to keep your photos private. This page explains exactly what does — and does not — happen to your data.

Your photos never leave your device

When you select a photo, it is read and decoded entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript. The image is never uploaded to our servers or any third party. We do not receive, see, store, or log your photos or the GPS coordinates extracted from them.

What we don't collect

  • We do not upload or store your images.
  • We do not store the latitude, longitude, or any EXIF data from your photos.
  • We do not require an account, email, or any sign-up.
  • We do not sell or share personal data — because we don't collect any.

Hosting and standard server logs

The site is served as static files by Firebase Hosting (Google). Like virtually all web hosts, Firebase may record standard, non-personal request logs (such as IP address, timestamp, and requested file) for security and reliability. These logs relate to page requests only and never include your photos or their contents. See Firebase's privacy information.

Fonts

We load the Inter and Sora fonts from Google Fonts, which may involve a request to Google's servers to deliver the font files. No photo data is ever involved in these requests.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them.
