A free, privacy-first tool that reads the GPS coordinates a camera stored inside a photo and shows you exactly where it was taken.
What this tool does
Most phones and cameras record the location of each photo inside the file as EXIF metadata. Photo Location Finder decodes that metadata and gives you the exact latitude and longitude, plus a one-tap link to open the spot in Google Maps.
Why we built it
Existing EXIF viewers often upload your photo to a server just to read a few bytes of metadata. That's unnecessary and a privacy risk. This tool does everything locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded, so your photos and their locations stay yours. Read more in our Privacy Policy.
